Cinco de Mayo. Everyone loves it. But if you ask people what they’re celebrating, most of them probably couldn’t say. In fact, it's a Mexican holiday that's only celebrated in America, so we hired a Puerto Rican as spokesman. Luis Guzman helped get the word out, inviting fans to make up their own historically inaccurate version of Cinco. The program played out in social and on WriteYourCinco.com. Fans got their revisionist histories read back to them by Luis. And Tijuana street artist Charles Glaubiz, painted the best versions on a mural in DTLA. A few lucky fans even got to keep their portion of the mural. Fake history never looked better.
